Competing at 4*LCash is owned by Barnie, bought for him by his grandparents in 2018 as a multiple birthday present! He has been a real life unicorn.
Originally a showjumper in Denmark he started his eventing career in July 2017 with Owen Cooper.
Barnie and Cash soon built up an amazing partnership and their main achievements to date are:
2019 Champions of the Baileys Jump Training 100 Series.
A win in the ONU18 at Tweseldown in May 2019.
Competed in the National U18 Championships with team Central, at Frickley Park in the July of 2019.
Stepped up to Intermediate in August 2019, with 9 top 10 finishes to date.
A win in October 2021 at Little Downham in the OIU21 and again in the 3*S at Bicton.
Following a successful splint operation in February 2022, Cash was back out doing what he loves. Coming 2nd in their one and only outing of 2022 in the OIU21 at Little Downham.
They then stepped up to Advanced in March 2023 with a top 10 finish in the AU25 at Thoresby, making both Bramham and Hartpury 4*S look like a walk in the park and finishing the 2023 season with their first competition abroad, at Lignieres, France, being placed 11th in their first 4*L.
2024 has already brought a great honour to have been selected to ride the dressage ‘guinea pig’ test at Badminton!
Hopeful plans for the future are stepping up to 5*.

Competing at 3*LOwned by Naomi Brotherton. Nelson was bought from Ian and Heidi Woodhead at DHI Event Horses in 2021, then competing at Novice level as a 6 year old.
Their main achievements to date are:
2nd place in the Novice at West Wilts 2021
Stepping up to Intermediate level in 2022, coming 2nd in the 3*S at Bicton at the end of the season.
Followed by another 2nd at Bicton in the 3*L May 2023 with 6 top 10 finishes at Intermediate.
In 2023 they were selected and competed, representing team GB at the Young Rider European Championships in Montelibretti, Italy.
In 2024 Nelson will be standing in for Cash as the dressage ‘guinea pig’ at Badminton. Hopeful plans for the future are stepping up to 4*.

17.2hh Roan Grey GeldingOwned by Naomi, Barnie and Beau Brotherton, Fred was bought through Andrew Williams, GHF, now Kilkenny International Sporthorses in 2023, then competing at Novice level.
We have taken our time with Fred as he is a sensitive, big horse, with the kindest temperament and brave as a lion.
We feel he is one to watch in the future and Barnie is looking forward to stepping him up to Intermediate.
